Back to the tundra....

Well Jeremy and I are back from Virginia. Even though we went from spring back to having a blizzard here in Iowa in the span of a few days. We are happy to be home with Spencer, we missed him very much, and we miss grandma and grandpa too. Jeremy misses Baxter (family dog) a lot!

We had a great time in Virginia. We spent a lot of time with Grandma and Grandpa, mostly playing ball because thats what Jeremy does all day long. It doesn't matter what kind of ball as long as it can be thrown.Grandpa taught him how to kick a football and tackle. He is a natural at that. I prefer he stick to a less contact sport. Jeremy loved helping Grandma make homemade strawberry jam. He was very good at squishing the "trawberrs" that's what he calls strawberries.
My Grandmother and Great Grandmother still roll their hair in curlers every night. It was funny when we looked over and Jeremy's whole head was wet because he had started dipping his hand in his cup of water and putting it on his head. Spencer was relieved that he wouldn't actually let them put a curler in his hair, he would just twist it around
We also had a great time feeding the ducks when the weather was warmer. Jeremy calls them "quack quacks".

The day before we flew out of Knoxville, TN my mom and dad took us to Gatlinburg and Dollywood. Jeremy loved everything about it. I think he was so overwhelmed by everything to watch and look at he didn't know what to do. He would never smile on any of the rides until they stopped and then he would clap and say "do adin mommy" One of his favorite things was playing in the sand. He rode several rides but here are a few pictures from the day.
